嚴明慰問故陸軍下士洪仲丘家屬　強調深切檢討查明真相

（軍聞社記者李一豪臺中八日電）參謀總長嚴明上將今天率相關聯參主管前往臺中，向已故陸軍第五四二旅洪仲丘下士的家屬表達哀悼與歉意，強調國軍一定會深切檢討，全力查明案情真相。

　總長對於洪仲丘下士在禁閉室悔過期間死亡，深表遺憾與不捨，除希望家屬節哀，也說明國防部軍檢單位已積極調查偵辦，一定會查明事實真相。總長同時致送家屬慰問金，並聆聽家屬的意見與心聲，希望提供家屬必要的協助。

　總長表示，國防部會深切檢討，以坦誠的態度，詳查肇因與釐清真相，並秉持「毋枉毋縱」的精神，不隱瞞、不護短，若有人員違失或涉法者，絕對從嚴議處或依法究辦，不讓遺憾再次發生。
