美偵探小說家去世　享年71歲

【綜合報導】美國知名偵探小說作家蓋吉(Leighton Gage)，上周五因胰腺癌在佛羅里達州家中逝世，享年71歲。

蓋吉長年旅居巴西，而他最著名的偵探小說系列，創作靈感就是從巴西的司法制度而來。該著作以檢察總長希瓦(Mario Silva)為主角，目前已經推出到第6集，原定在明年出版第7集，可惜蓋吉在3個月前確診罹患癌症，來不及寫完就離開人世。
