旅美好手王建民、林哲瑄等人25日出席慈善高球賽，為早產兒基金會募款，建仔剛與紅人隊簽約，他說「如果有機會上大聯盟，不排除轉任長中繼」，剛加入遊騎兵隊的林哲瑄，則否認要改練投。

王建民25日起了個大早，早上7時即到球場練習揮桿，他對自己揮桿的表現給了剛好及格的「60分」。
   
對於新球季的目標，王建民還是那句話，「希望健康投完整年」，而且若有機會上大聯盟，「也不排除轉任長中繼的角色」。建仔將在明年元月初回美國自主訓練，為新球季全力備戰。

林哲瑄已與遊騎兵隊簽約，有媒體報道他可能轉練投手，林哲瑄否認了這個說法，他表示「我完全不知道有這件事」。
