高雄氣爆爆出管線危機，1份24年前的高雄市政府公文曝光，顯示這些管線是由副總統吳敦義在高雄市長任內所批准埋管的。

據《三立新聞》報導，吳敦義在高雄市長任內，批准核發中油公司鋪設管線，而地點就在這次氣爆區的凱旋路、一心路、三多路，更誇張的是，自公文批准的79年之後，長達24年來這些管線竟然都沒有人負責檢測。（胡治言／綜合報導）
