金鶯隊陳偉殷台北時間9月2日凌晨1時將對洋基先發，洋基現役球員對戰殷仔，共轟了6支全壘打，所以陳偉殷要贏球，就要嚴防洋基長程火砲的襲擊。
陳偉殷生涯對戰洋基4場，投24局，失17分、14分責失，戰績1勝2敗、防禦率5.25，今年4月15日對決黑田博樹，投6局失3分，金鶯0比3輸球，殷仔吞敗投。
以目前洋基現役陣容來看，Robinson Cano、Brett Gardner、Curtis Granderson、Derek Jeter、Alex Rodriguez、Kevin Youkilis都曾從陳偉殷手中轟出全壘打，其中Brett Gardner的對戰打擊率還高達5成，Vernon Wells也有3成33，這些都是殷仔要嚴加看管的強棒。
陳偉殷目前戰績7勝7敗、防禦率3.76，洋基則排定Andy Pettitte先發，他本季戰績10勝9敗、防禦率4.05。
陳偉殷上場對紅襪先發，只投3.2局就被打出8支安打包括2支全壘打，失8分，吞下慘烈的一敗，拚過紅襪之後，殷仔再拚洋基，這一戰也不好過。
金鶯目前戰績71勝62敗，在美國聯盟東區排名第3，洋基71勝63敗排名第4，兩隊僅有半場勝差。
