安倍經濟學鼓勵消費成效不彰，日本8月份的家庭消費支出呈現下滑！總務省1日公佈，日本家庭的平均消費支出為284,646日圓，實質消費支出年減1.6%，不及市場預估的上揚0.1%，也遜於7月的增加0.1%。

經季節因素調整後，和前月相比，日本8月份的家庭消費支出月減0.5%。

數據顯示，8月份日本受薪家庭平均所得為471,411日圓，實質所得走低0.9%，中斷了前5個月的上揚走勢。受薪家庭的平均消費支出也下跌0.5%。民間消費佔日本GDP 6成比重，家庭消費支出為民間消費的重要指標之一。
