TVBS主播李文儀8月以「免疫系統」向公司申請留職停薪，預計本周重回主播台報到，日前又突然致電總監詹怡宜，表示身體狀況不佳決定請辭，讓規劃好的新聞部措手不及，公關部發言人葉毓君說：「雖然有些錯愕，但仍尊重她的決定。」

《聯合報》報導，李文儀一路受T台栽培，數月前發現健康出狀況，決定休長假就醫，新聞工作讓她長期待在冷氣房，加上多年處於壓力下，不利於養病。而休養時，新聞部找廖芳潔暫代她負責時段，原下周復工，她一通電話打破所有布局。

她透過方文萱律師表示，多年來熱愛新聞工作，生病後勉強撐過一些時間，但醫生囑咐不宜，她才痛苦下此決定。「最近在換季，她更不舒服，中西醫都在看，一切以健康為主。」許多主播跳槽常以生病為由，方文萱說：「目前沒這規畫。」
