代謝症候群患者　罹大腸癌機率高

【張博亭／台北報導】民眾愛吃油炸物，導致肥胖等代謝症候群，增加罹大腸癌風險，新光醫院今指出，該院參與國內大規模社區研究，追蹤40歲以上民眾超過10年，累積超過18萬名，發現男、女性有代謝症候群，其大腸直腸長瘜肉風險比一般人高，男性增加42%發生風險，女性則增加31%，進一步分析，男性的危險因子包括吃太油、熱量高、少運動等；女性主要危險因子則包括腰圍異常、空腹血糖過高。

代謝症候群包括高血壓、高血脂、高血糖、腰圍異常等症狀。新光醫院胃腸肝膽科主治醫師廖朝聖今表示，該院與彰化縣、基隆市、台南市衛生局合作，針對18萬5743名、40歲以上民眾，進行長期追蹤，發現代謝症候群與罹患大腸直腸癌風險具有顯著相關。
