對男演員身材標準要求最高的非超級英雄電影莫屬，為能參與演出，男星無不使出渾身解數降體脂、練肌肉，身材差異驚人。克里斯漢斯沃在演澳洲影集《悲歡離合》時只算有肌肉的瘦子，但在《雷神索爾》裡成了體型至少大２號的巨肌猛男。克里斯伊凡在2005年《驚奇４超人》裡就很結實，但在６年後的《美國隊長》裡卻把胸肌練得比頭還大。克里斯普萊特在３月播出的影集《公園與遊憩》裡根本就是個胖子，卻為８月將上映的《星際異功隊》脫胎換骨練出一身精壯肌肉。
