以色列和巴勒斯坦衝突持續，加上以軍對加薩一所由聯合國興辦的學校砲擊，導致多名兒童死傷，引發巴勒斯坦人眾怒。今日有上萬名巴勒斯坦人到加薩走廊邊境，對以色列軍抗議，但傳出這場抗議已變調成血腥衝突，傳出有2名巴勒斯坦人死亡，200人受傷。

據英國BBC報導，從本月8日的以巴衝突至今，已經有超過800名巴勒斯坦人和33名以色列人死亡。以色列總理尼坦雅胡(Benjamin Netanyahu)稱，對於巴勒斯坦人民死亡，他感到相當遺憾，但稱人會死，「一切都是哈馬斯組織的責任」。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
