高雄氣爆事件造成多位消防及義消人員殉職，信義房屋決定捐贈全國義消總會新台幣1000萬元。信義房屋表示，千萬元捐款用來支應救災殉職消防及義消人員每人百萬元慰問金。

信義房屋表示，不論是天然災害的颱風、地震、水災、土石流，或人為疏失引爆的火災或氣爆災害，當災民忙著逃命時，消防及義消人員個個奮不顧身衝鋒陷陣，永遠站在第一線保護人民。

信義房屋指出，這次許多消防及義消人員出生入死搶救受困的生命，信義房屋決定向這些默默付出的消防及義消英雄，致上最高的敬意，捐款1000萬元予全國義消總會。信義房屋盼將企業愛心轉化成社會群體的大愛，喚起更多人為高雄多付出一份心力，一起縫補土地的創傷，將台灣溫暖人心的力量傳遞下去。
