冷熱兩用沐浴水龍頭的問題

下圖是一個拆解後的冷熱兩用沐浴水龍頭. 水龍頭本體左邊是拆解下來的牛角手柄(倒過來放).

我的問題是關於圖中以紅色圓圈標示的那個拉柄, 這個拉柄向上拉起時, 水會從沐浴蓮蓬頭的出水口流出. 向下按, 則水從正常的出水口流出.

這個拉柄最近變得很難拉起. 勉強拉起後, 也很難按下. 就算把它拉起來, 旋轉一下再按, 會比較容易, 但也維持不了多久, 又變得很難拉, 很難按.

請問, 這個問題可以自行DIY解決嗎? 如果可以, 該怎麼做?
(如果DIY失敗, 再換新吧. DIY成功的話, 爽度升級)
