於2012年1月6日簽約、1月7日開工的上海大眾寧波汽車生產基地，在歷經近兩年的工程進度下，於日前進行了完工落成典禮，初期除了將生產在中國稱為「速派」的SKODA Superb車型之外，也具備有MQB底盤車型的生產能力，堪稱是VW集團之中最先進的廠區之一。
