姓氏達36個字母　美女子證件終於印上全名

【李寧怡／綜合外電報導】美國夏威夷一名女子，姓氏長達36個字母，包括35個英文字母及1個夏威夷文字母，但因身份證與駕照的姓名長度限制，她的證件上都無法顯示全名。經過長年爭取後，周一她終於領到印有全名的身份證與駕照。
 
這名女子全名為Janice Keihanaikukauakahihulihe'ekahaunaele，但過去她的證件連姓氏都無法完整顯示，名字Janice更印不上去。她曾被交通警察質問：「妳的名字在哪裡？」她說：「別問我，那是你們州政府的問題。」
 
美聯社報導，在女子力爭下，夏威夷州政府終於從善如流，將證件姓氏長度上限增為40個字母，核發「正名」後的身份證與駕照給她。
