交通部長葉匡時與商界友人餐敘引爆爭議，雖府院未釋出撤換訊息，但有民調指出，60.57%受訪者認為葉匡時行為不當，應下台；20.57%認為不應下台，立委爆料欠缺證據；18.86%沒意見。

《蘋果》以「葉匡時接受神腦招待事件，你認為他是否應為此下台？」為題進行民調，調查日期為1月18日，全國住宅電話為抽樣母體，成功樣本數只有350份，且調查方式採電腦語音輔助訪問。

行政院發言人鄭麗文日前受訪說，葉匡時已在上周行政院會中向行政院長江宜樺和內閣同仁解釋與說明，江宜樺當場也做提示與叮嚀，並未考慮葉匡時去留問題。

總統馬英九也間接透露力挺葉匡時態度，「完全尊重行政院的決定」；換言之，葉匡時官位暫時是保住了。
