牙買加400接力奪冠 波特獲國協運動會首金

牙買加男子田徑隊2日摘下大英國協運動會男子400公尺接力冠軍。而陣中成員超級明星波特(Usain Bolt)也因此獲得他個人在大英國協運動會的第一面金牌。
奧運6金得主、兩項世界紀錄保持人波特，並未參加作為大英國協運動會選拔賽的國內賽事，因此只參加了這次在蘇格蘭格拉斯哥舉行的大英國協運動會400公尺接力項目。而這也是他個人首面大英國協運動會的金牌。
