記者林修卉／台北報導 苗栗縣政府強拆大埔4戶引起民怨，力挺大埔自救會的學生日前赴國民黨抗議，此後國民黨中央黨部附近密部署警力。前民進黨主席蔡英文今（26）日在臉書質疑，「馬總統，你在害怕什麼？」 蔡英文指出，為什麼要動用國家機器監控住在國民黨部附近的居民？為什麼人民走近國民黨部要被驅離？為什麼在路邊喊口號要被警方逮捕起訴？為什麼在路邊舉布條抗議要被警方暴力相向？ 蔡英文說，「你為什麼要這樣對待國家的主人？你真的要讓台灣淪為警察國家嗎？」 蔡英文呼籲，「請立刻停止以國家機器壓迫人民，立刻停止打壓人民的言論自由，別讓台灣的民主倒退！」
