不會。

用最簡單的算術與常識判斷，空氣密度從海拔15公里高度到30公里高度，並沒有太大變化，因為空氣密度變得稀薄所減少的阻力，並未以反比例遞減，所以射程不會成比例加倍。

飛彈射程遠近，燃料供應多寡是原因之一。但燃料並不只是用來推動飛彈彈體前進。飛彈需要導航，所耗用的電力由燃料供應，也影響到射程的遠近。導航模式越複雜耗用電力/燃料更多。例如巡弋飛彈還要用攝影機與電腦在航程上不斷作地貌比對、半主動導引飛彈要接受發射體雷達訊號、主動雷達要發射雷達波與紅外線偵測目標，這些導航動作都會消耗許多電力/燃料。
