復興航空GE222班機在澎湖發生意外，先前傳出機上48名罹難乘客中，有兩位法國旅客及一名港客，經復興航空確認，搭機旅客中僅兩名法國旅客持外國護照登機，其他旅客皆用中華民國身分證登機。

據資料顯示，這架航班編號GE222班機上搭載54名乘客及4位機組員，先前有消息傳出，罹難的48名乘客中除了有兩位法國籍女性交換學生（Jeromine Deramond和Penelope Luternauer）之外，還有一位香港人，但經與復興航空確認後，登機的54名只有兩位法國旅客持外國護照登機，其他旅客皆使用身分證登機，證實皆為本國人，但是否乘客有雙重國籍可能？還有待進一步釐清。

據悉，兩名法國女性乘客是短期來台就讀醫學系的交換學生，23日當天候補上機，於空難發生後遭遇不幸。目前10名受傷送醫乘客，已陸續後送台灣就醫；6個20呎冰櫃，預定上午11點由嘉義布袋運至馬公，估計下午2至3點抵達，協助處理後續事宜。
