中華棒協表示，仁川亞運中華成棒培訓隊29日抵達北卡後，30日下午至NTC(USA Baseball National Training Complex)球場練球。明日與美國NCAA明星隊的第一戰，中華隊將派出左投羅華韋擔任先發。

羅華韋曾有三年小聯盟經歷，對於自己目前的狀況相當有信心，體能及球速方面也都做好準備，期待明日能有好的表現，爭取更多先發機會。

中華隊總教練呂明賜表示，全隊練球狀況相當不錯，雖有時差問題，仍希望大家盡快進入比賽狀態。中華培訓隊7月1日起將與NCAA進行五連戰，呂總表示，五戰先發投手都已有安排，包括羅華韋、朱誥鎮、張賢智、楊志龍及王宗豪等，都是本次系列戰先發人選。

中華隊此次對戰的美國NCAA明星隊，是一支強度很高的隊伍，普遍投手球速都非常快，呂總也盼透過高強度的比賽，提升這批中華隊的比賽經驗，以備戰荷蘭港口盃。
